Respect for the Unemployed and Benefit Claimants has been forced offline over the last few month after, a serious break-in which destroyed six of our computers, a and photo copier plus other items.
This has seriously but temporarily curtailed our campaigning work.
Far right slogans had been painted on our walls, and credible threats made against our organisation. We can report that after a few weeks of hard work by supporters and campaigners we now are able to resume our campaigning on a reduced level. We have been forced to buy a 'cheap inadequate computer' while we try and raise funds to buy new equipment.
It seems we are upsetting a few people on the far right with our campaign for 'Respect' among benefit claimants - this latest attempt to silence our voice has and will continue to fail.
Once again we apologises group members
